2007 Halloween Shows
« on: August 28, 2007, 09:20:00 pm »
Definitely one of my favorite nights to see a show.

Who's already confirmed? A bit early, I'm sure...but fuck it, I'm ALREADY excited.

9:30? CMJ? Bowery? Black Cat? R-N-R Hotel?
Woof.

Black Cat = Lucero, Bobby Bare Jr, and Whiskey & Co.

 Yup, whiskey sounds about right.

The Police @ MSG.

Which I was overjoyed about & thought couldn't be close to topped.  Until some bastards decided to book Morrissey the same night down here.

 *sigh*

 2 legends.  2 cities.  Only 1 Director.

The life of a concert addict is NOT all encores, sing alongs, & refreshing concession beers.  Sometimes the underbelly of the situation exposes itself . . .   :(

I'm thinking the Moz. Especially if one or more of my Halloween costume counterparts go (which I'm thinking at least one will).

Oh the joys of a group-themed Halloween costume.

there's a rumour Voltaire will be playing somewhere in DC for Halloween.  (if you're a fan, you can contact him @ voltaire@voltaire.net to help get him down here) There's nothing more perfect than Voltaire on Halloween.  if he doesn't come, I have no idea what I'm going to do...but I took off the 31st & the 1st so I guess I could travel a bit if I have to.

however, I'm in desperate need of costume ideas.

Hit up about 5 of your homegirls.  Run somewhere & make sure all of you cop some legwarmers.  Also make sure all of you got the "Jersey Mall Hair" poppin' that night.  Then all of you make sure you roll in the venue in sync hitting the dance breakdown from the "Love Is A Battlefield" video.  Of course, you'll be Pat Benatar.  Bet you get best costume hands down.

 You're welcome.
