I made easily the stupidest pick ever in an attempt to not "use up" the good teams. I'm flying too close to the sun on the arm of Joey "Heisman" Harrington.

and in the second chance pool (AKA the also-rans), we have another week with a 100% survival rate.  however, things should be shaking down in the next week or two as the majority of favorites have been taken.  nice move by eros chosing the cards. i predict that this pool will be over by week 8, week 9 max.

P.S. to sal paradise: stop copying my picks.  thanks.

at some point you'll slip up and fall off my coattails... consider this a preemptive thank you for your $50 ($60 including fantasy football?).

I will admit to getting excited when I saw that I had a chance to win the sidebet this week, but then I saw that my hope rests in Joey Harrington and I wasn't very excited.  However, when Leftwich came in, my eyes were glued to that game.  I still don't get how two drives in the red zone in the last 5 minutes ended up yielding 0 points.  Oh well.

And yes, weeks 6 and 7 are not going to be easy.

So  Phibes, New England doesn't look so sure of a bet this week. Should be a good game.
I may go with LT at home.Stop by if you want to watch your Bears take on the Purple. Hopefully Tavaris will be back at QB. Kelly Holcomb is pathetic.

Probably best you didn't come by. 55 yarder as time ran out, what a killer! Keeps us alive if the Pack starts losin a couple.

I've always thought that week 7 was going to be the most difficult.
