and now SDS are giving it to Indy?  this week has been upset central.  in my other survivor pool, there were 16 people going in to this week.  only three survived, with two seattle picks left for tomorrow.  massacre.

while i have y'allz attention: where's a good place to find out as ASAP if shaun alexander will be starting tomorrow?  everything i've read says it's a game-time decision with a lean towards the negative, but what source(s) will have the info first?  thanks.

As an strict constructionist, I believe we must follow the rules on this one.  See "How Do I Win?", available at  http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/footballsurvival/winning/footballs-12.html  (last visited Nov. 11, 2007) ("In the event that the last Active members in a group are all Eliminated together in the same week, all are declared winners.").

Agreed. That whole bye week thing had me a bit worried.

But there really didn't seem much else available.  I had already picked PIT and SEA. KC, CAR and GB were favorites, but I didn't feel real good about any of those either.  Hats off to Favre - dude is on fire.

No doubt. He makes it seem like he's seeing everything in slo mo. Their RB is coming along too. It's looking like the Pack vs.Dallas for the NFC.

thanks.  never thought i'd be rooting for the seahawks after all of their post-super bowl XL crying about the officiating.

Good Question. Congrats to Yinzer if he wins with Seattle tonight! But,of course he wasn't in on the side bets and wouldn't be eligible for that pot?? Right, Smackie??

Read them again. I'm sure there's a rule that says Commish has final say over all matters.

Yinzer will be the $5 pool winner only if Seattle holds on.  I'm rooting for him too so I don't have to divide that $5 pool up by 8 people.

Eliminated in Week 10

 Sparx says (NOR)
 challenged (CAR)
 Phibesphootball* (NOR)
 Vansmack* (NOR)
 HoyaParanoia* (NOR)
 The Big Sack (NOR)
 ggw* (NOR)

 Picks

 6 New Orleans
 1 Carolina
 1 Seahawks

 AND THE WINNER IS:

Yinzer, who rode a Shaun Alexanderless Seattle Seahawks team to victory.

Congrats.  If gambling were legal, Yinzer would be receiving a payout of $150.

Vansmack, GGW, Hoya and Phibes in the sidebet would be receiving $250 each if gambling were legal.

And in the second chance pool, Hoya, Sweetcell and Eros would be splitting $400 ($133 each), again, if gambling were legal.
