Just a friendly shout out about this Friday night's "We Fought the Big One" at Marx Cafe over in Mt. Pleasant. The Big One is a monthly dj night where my friend Brandon and I revel in mostly old-school post-punk & underground indie greatness that you usually wouldn't hear anywhere else. Stuff that was on Factory, 4AD, Creation, Postcard Records, etc. Also, the bar offers a tasty selection of fine Belgians, if you're into that sort of thing. I know I am.
