-EDIT- Woops, Sweetcell said nearly the same thing I did...my fault for not reading all the way down before I reply!  But GOOD point, sweetcell!

In my opinion, the real problem Britney created for herself is wearing a bra and panty outfit.  There are a MILLION stage outfits she could have worn and she would have looked amazing.   No one would have said, "oh my, she didn't bear her entire torso, she must be fat."

And as for her performance, it was awful and painful to watch.  Take a look when she's helped down from the upper stage to the lower stage by the dancers -- I thought she must not realize this was the live show and thought it a rehearsal she could just walk through; she looked like she was getting out of a car drunk getting from one stage to the next.

Kanye was right; she was NOT ready, though I wouldn't be surprised if the pressure came from her camp as strongly as it did from MTV.

Check out maggie gyllenhaal's newest ads for lingerie. she looks hot! and i cant remember how long ago she gave birth, but it was fairly recently. anyway - having kids is not a handicap as far as getting in shape. these people have access to personal trainers, so maybe brit is just happy with her body.

but personally, i dont see whats wrong with britney and her body. looks fine to me in the outfit. granted not abs of steel, but she looks fine.

i humbly apologize for starting this thread. and even perpetuating it.

i regret it deeply.  i just saw the article on some non-MTV related site, and thought i would post it in the VMA thread and proclaim my love for women over 130lbs.

however, there was no VMA thread, i started one, and for that i am sorry.

]now, everyone to the britpop thread!

I saw her (Maggie) naked in Sherrybaby (lame cliched movie btw), and she's definitely someone who looks better with her clothes on, and gains major benefits from a bra.

No, the bass player throwing his bass in the air and then clocked by it on the way down.

i'd argue that getting hit in the face while attempting something cool crystalizes my generation's hopes

Britney admitted to being bulimic in those pre-baby days. I'm sure she'll be binging and purging again after all of these headlines.

Why doesn't anybody talk about the singer in Fall Out Boy? He could stand to lose a dress size or two.

I saw MCR a few years ago and the guy looked fine. Well fine for a guy in makeup.  Here's the singer of FOB. The band always highlights Pete Wentz in videos/pics because this one isn't a looker.

Is the one on the right, you, 6949?  I need to know because some of my friends at the Skynyrd show on Tuesday were asking about some "high-class, educated, posh lady" walking around "wearing fancy clothes."  They wanted to know if you were seeing somebody.  They'd be willing to accept a gun rack (for their pick-up) as a dowry.

Fantastic. Should I hook you up with my friend in the green? We could double date.
