I'm two blocks from the White House, and I heard a military plane whizz by -- close and loud -- right around that time.  My friend across the street at Bloomberg emailed to ask if I heard it too, and told me what was going on.
 
 We were at code Red for a few minutes, folks.
 
 The White House briefing was interesting -- with questions like, "haven't the terrorists won if one small Cessna can throw the whole government into chaos?"

I don't know what everyone was worried about.

So answer me this,
 
 Why were the planes released from Andrews AFB for a tiny ass Cessna, but when we already knew about planes being hijacked on 9/11 they were released from Richmond.  Really makes you wonder doesn't it...
 
 I work about 4 blocks from the White House and it was a party going on here while I was on our rooftop patio!
