I'm not sure what's going on, but it should be interesting.

That's some funny shit . . . .

My guess would be it's NOT a new CD, because it's a Friday not a Tuesday.  I at first guessed a new launch date for their new, updated website but that's a lotta hype for some new cyberspace.  Soooooo . . .

I think that's when they're gonna announce this highly rumored Troy, Wis. show.  They already hit the West Coast (plus they're going back), and they're coming to the East Coast(I'll be there both nights).  I guess so they can touch the fans that didn't make it to either coast shows that what it is.  Or (wishful thinking) maybe they'll announce a full-scale tour.  They also "said" their goal was to topple the Bush administration, so what better place to do that than with a show right here in D.C.  (*hint, hint*)

All I know that has a factual basis is that there will be shows in Europe late fall/early winter, specifically  shows in Amsterdam and London are confirmed, others rumoured.  So there will definitely be shows beyond the 1 played and 4 announced.  A Full scale tour is a possibility and I would be kind of excited but not if they weren't planning on producing new material.  I might be a hypocrit of sorts on this issue but to get back together just to play shows would be a disappointment, granted Coachella was incredible and Rock The Bells will be great as well. But I don't want to see them go ala the Pixies model but rather the Pumpkins one.  And since all original members are there, if they could get their shit together to produce a new album it would be insane.

Found there is a simple way to find out what the countdown is for: Just set your computer clock ahead to June 11th, the day the first countdown ends. Nothing spectacular in regards to here: its just an announcement for a show in East Troy Wisconsin on August 24th, the day of the 2nd countdown. Not really huge news, but still good sign that Rage will keep doing shows and may set up a full tour at some point.

The domain was registered by Live Nation, they wouldn't do that if it wasn't a full scale tour.

There are 2 countdowns. First one will be something significant enough to keep people interested in the 2nd one, maybe.  But since Live Nation is involved, it's a tour.
