 Steely Dan
 Tupac

Ditto on the DMB and John Mayer.  She also has a soft spot for Fergie that even she admits is embarrassing.

I would never date anyone ever again who is into Dave Matthews or the Grateful Dead. Been there, done that, ain't goin' back.

If I've ever had a 180 on any band, it's the Dead.  My wife definitely got me into them.  I always just sort of assumed I'd hate them based on their fans, but I'll be damned if American Beauty and Workingman's Dead aren't brilliant.

John Mayer, Straylight Run, various American Idol acts.

I used to hate Death Cab for Cutie, but I've come around to them a little after seeing them live, enough to upgrade their status from "hate" to "tolerate."

US Maple.

For him, it's the fact that I like the Grateful Dead.  American Beauty and Reckoning, especially.  Not too much into the 80 minute "jams".  Never really was.

I would be just fine if I never heard Rumours, Tapestry or Sweet Baby James ever again. But instead, I hear them almost daily.

Fortunately, she's agreed that if I keep Mastodon, Wolf Eyes and the DMBQ off the hi-fi, she'll refrain from playing Natalie Merchant, DMB or Sarah McLachlan.
