Recher Theathre question
« on: October 22, 2004, 12:18:00 pm »
Are there any general showtime guidelines for Recher Theatre? Is it similar to the 9:30s? Not asking for anything definitive....but an idea would be nice.

I'm specifically asking in reference to Monday night's Tragically Hip/Sam Roberts show.

It is similar to 9:30 but I would recommend getting there earlier to park and the line to get in forms early depending upon the band, and that the club is smaller, and fills up quicker.

Sweet!! Thanks for the update. So did you check out the show in Pittsburgh? I was up in the front row - not difficult since the place was so empty. You going to be at this show?

By the way, Eric (keybd player) threw out his back in Pittsburgh. He's got a slipped disc and is in a fair amount of pain. He's getting it looked at in Ottawa this weekend. Hopefully this won't cause them to cancel out of the rest of the tour.

Saw the show in Pittsburgh, in that hellhole club. I was in the back by the sound console, where it sounded pretty good considering how lame that "club" was. I will definitely be at the Recher show, hanging out by the sound board. I'm about 5'4, red hair & glasses, come say howdy.

I've never found parking to be a problem.  There is a pretty large lot behind the Recher were you can park for free.

I thought there was a charge for that lot?  I was there a few months ago and could've sworn I noticed someone monitoring the lot, taking money.  I normally park on the street to avoid that.  Who knew?
