I hope not. She's not just annoying,  she's plumb loco, too.

I know it's network t.v., but would the 12:35 show be a step up for him?  His show is so highly regarded.  Now, an 11:35 show would be a whole diff ball of wax...  Just wondering.

Also, when is Kilborn finished?  Is this his last week?

PS, I hate/despise/wish ill upon Ann Coulter like I never/rarely do.....she is awful and does a disservice to every conservative when she speaks or writes.

Sounds like someone's a little envious of Ann's success and good looks.....

C'mon now.  High school ended years ago.  Let go of those petty jealousies.

Kilborn's last show was last Friday.  I enjoyed it.  Reruns will air until they decide what to do.  They may rotate guest hosts for a while.

Hollywood rumors are (1) Sign Conan away from NBC, groom him for Letterman's slot because with his health and young child, Lettermans days are numbered.  (2) Take John Stewart away from Comedy Central like they did with Craigers and temp him with replacing Letterman soon.

The obvious question is not the time for Jon Stewart, but can he get away with the same comedy on network TV that he can on Cable?

After watching him tone down and be quite giddy with John Kerry on his show last week, I think he'd welcome network TV.

Anyone catch this? I heard they played an Isbell tune - Never Gonna Change.

I'm hardly surprised - it's a GREAT song - yet if you've been following the band for years - it sure jumps out as a big concession: The new kid is the rising star - he's grabbing the reigns & is their best shot at true success. I heard that Mike Cooley got precious little airtime. It'll be very interesting to watch this band's dynamic over the next few years.

Oh...& Isbell has a solo record coming out. From large hearted boy:

 Another Trucker Solo Album
Drive-By Trucker Jason Isbell's solo album, tentatively titled "Sirens of the Ditch" is scheduled for an early 2005 release on New West, DBT's label.

Judging from his tracks on the band's The Dirty South and Decoration Day and the rough mixes and live performances I've heard from this solo effort, it could well be my most highly awaited 2005 release.

Did anybody catch that trainwreck that is Brian Wilson on Leno?

Oh my.  It's part broadway musical, part Beach Boys, part cartoon background music, part Jimmy Buffett, with enough people to rival The Polyphonic Spree.

It's always possible that I just don't get it, but I thought it was just terrible.
