I had not even noticed, but the new Clinic album comes out tomorrow as well.

I listened to a few cuts off of an advance copy of this one. I liked her first album alot, but this one strikes me as a blatant grab at mainstream success, upon first listen. She shore do look cute in the photo on the cover though.

 I already called the posthumous "I'm not homophobic" comments so you can't say that!  That's always the excuse!  But okay, I know, I'm being too sensitive, but think about some poor young kid who's reading these posts who has no idea you're being tongue-in-cheek.  Use the word "fey."  Ha, ha, ha.  
 
 All in all, it's still no excuse.  Sure, Gibbard's lyrics are a little over-the-top, but it would also get awfully annoying if every record had the lyrical premise of Ludacris's "Move Bitch!"

 Like I said before: think of how you would feel if you were young, closeted, were stoked to read about music and the club away from hell, and were STILL haunted by such words?  I'm none of the above, but I know I'm still being too sensitive.  Don't worry, I'm not militant or anything so I'll shut up.  I'm gay but very un-PC.  I love offense, and I think everything needs to be made fun of.  But I make sure I do it around people I know.
