Not to worry yank....I'll be in Ireland and just flying over for the games most weekends.

Guiny, believe me when I say this....I want to go a whole lot more than you want me gone, I'll leave the door open though to let more illegals in, which seems to be the preferred way.

Don't you know that the Irish don't like the English?  I hope for your sake that you'll be in Northern Ireland and not the Republic.

In all seriousness, I thought you were coming over to Manchester this month.  Are you still coming?

My wife and most of our social circle over here are Irish/English, we get on better than we do with the doodles. The Irish aren't full of themselves, more intelligent, well mannered and have a sense of humor.

The trip got cancelled because of the thieving bastard airlines by the way.

The Irish as opposed to the English?  I agree 100% with that comment.

Sorry to hear about your trip Mankie.  Let me know when you do plan to come back over for a visit.  And you'd better get back into the swing of adding those U's.  It's humour, not humor.  Maybe you an American?    :D

Dear Sir,

Do you mean to say that the English are full of themselves, not well mannered, and don't have a sense of humour?

 With warmest regards,

Is that why the UK is considered a drinking culture?

Such as their inability to properly use the "reply with quote" function?

Not a problem for the English, given the state of English cuisine (is that an oxymoron).

Okay, so Yank you're (living?) in England now.  Are you an ex-pat, or a Brit?

Mank is *so* obviously a Brit reluctantly in the U.S. (I agree about the Irish).

And Markie is another Brit living here, right?

Is that it for the limey contingent?

Judging from what I know of British food, I wouldn't eat much of it either.

Bags, If you go to previous topics you will see I've come to the defense of the US many times on this board when other members are really having a go at the country....I am here reluctantly but only poke fun at the place and it's natives.

Some people hate the place but stay here anyway, if I hated the place there's no way I would've stayed for the last 17+ years.
