Why do dudes wear crew neck t-shirts under polo shirts?

 But then again, I have beautiful armpits, and I manage to wear shirts with sleeves on them to work.

My thought is that women are allowed to because they typically shave their underarms, same with legs, which is why women can wear skirts w/o hose but men don't usually wear shorts to the office. And generally the showing of private body hair like pit and leg hair is really not appropriate for the office.
 
 I just get away with both, even though I don't shave because I think nobody in my small office cares or notices and my leg hair is light and I don't go running around high-fiving people on days that I'm wearing sleeveless shirts. I still think hair is kind of private and am a little shy about everyone seeing it.

I don't really want A$F stuff, but I can't pass up a "clearance rack" in any store....that being said A$F clearance prices are the prices they should be normally....feckin thieves that they are.

Me too, but I still wouldn't go into an A&F store...unless I was trying to pick up a 22 year old "boy" along with my clearance purchase.

 I wear dress shirts everyday, and an undershirt is a must, especially with the white dressshirt.
 
 I prefer the whitest of all whitetrash, the wife-Beater, for comfort sake.  Sleaved undershirts bunch up around the sleeves throughout the day.  
 
 V-neck undershirts look inappropriate with anything besides a v-neck overshirt or polo shirt.  And yes, the original post is correct, Crew-neck with polo-shirts is wrong.  It must be a v-neck or a beater.
 
 Two polo shirts is very east coast preppy and it wish it would have stayed there with boat shoes, but people move.  Damn it.  Two polo shirts is just wrong.
