I don't have a budget, I just see what I want to. That very well may be a function of no kids or what have you. I have to say that most shows I see are in the $10 - $15 range, though, so it's just not an issue. Only shows I didn't go to because of cost are some of those reunion shows (B-52s for $40, etc.). I still average 4 - 6 shows a month. And if I weren't drinking at the Black Cat, I'd be drinking somewhere else.
But, that's just me. For a few years there I didn't have a posse of folks who would go to shows with me. Now I do and I'm taking full advantage (of every man I meet, I get away, almost every day, with what the girls call, what the girls call, what the girls call, the girls call murder).
