They opened for Ben Kweller earlier this year. I liked em then and I like the album a lot.

Adam Green opened for Kweller. Did they play before him?

 but if enough people on the board dislike a band, that's usually inspiring enough for me to give them a closer listen. hehehe

i am listening to them now at work. i agree; his voice is pretty annoying.

nothing special about this band. but Q magazine LOVES them....its funny how British Magazines LOVE all the crappy US bands and vice versa.

gawd awful phonies.  I'm sure their whole "preachers sons" backstory is bullshit.  I dislike their look, I dislike their sound and if I ever saw one of those rediculous asshole walking down the street I'd pop 'im one.
