No, that's me and Smackette's song.  Awwwwww.  I play it for her all the time so it's not so wrong.

Ah Jadetree, there are thousands of those McLusky singles around but only 150 of those Longview Vs Elbow promo singles!  What are you gonna do with ten of them?

I saw on Blue Peter one time that if you melt the edges and curl them up they make cool sweet/candy dishes.

Man, that Liz Phair stuff is absolute crap.  It is heartbreaking -- granted, nothing's been up to "Exile in Guyville" standards, but I kept hoping.  Blech.

My purchases over last coupla weeks.  The Sounds is so much fun y'all -- Kim Wilde backed by Human League.  Yes, it's retro, and has you jiggly dancing at the metro!!:

 The Sounds, Living in America
Sarah Shannon (from Velocity Girl, old album)
 Fleshtones, Do You Swing
 New Pornographers, Electric Version
 Hot Hot Heat, ep
 Washington Social Club
Brendan Benson, Lapalco and One Mississippi

BTW, I mailed you some CDs. Will send an email about it.

It's brilliant Jag.  I don't have the original single by Longview so it's hard to compare.  It sounds like Elbow with a different singer.  As far as I can tell it only came out as a one sided 10" single and extremely limited.  I got mine from Piccadilly Records before they sold out.

I guess you saw where the new Elbow single (Ribcage) is available online this week.  Now the hunt is on for a promo cd single of it!  :)

Yes, I have Ribcage but only the MP3, like everyone else. It's good but I'm sure it won't be the stunner. Just hope that the album lives up to expectations, which I'm sure it will. Did the very, very nice bald guy with the earring wait on you?

BTW, I might be getting a complimentary Dove's promo for the DVD of Space Face from the Eden Project. Not positive about that yet but, believe it or not, I would be getting it from Rod Serling. Yes, you know whom I mean. !!!!!    :D      :D
