ok, i've listened and stood my ground with ticketmaster, claiming they were a great service that gave me great tickets to great shows.  but now they have broke the back of being nice.  i just attempted to get tickets at 10 am today.  the artist did not have a pre-sale / fan base giveaway of tickets before this show went on sale.  when the tickets did go on sale, i was there, on the second of 10 am.  there were NO center section orch seats available, only the seats pressed against the wall starting with row F and balcony . . . at the second they go on sale.  and then i find out that "SOMEONE" is selling front row tickets to the show on stubhubb for $400 each.  front row wasn't available to the public.
 
 ticketmaster blocks off the best seats for stubhubb and their own auction site before they go on sale.  my partner and i are so pissed at this, my hands are shaking.  i have made a pact to never see another concert that ticketmaster sells the tickts to.  at least i can go to the club.  i have to sell my dinosaur jr. ticket.

i was trying for annie lennox.  115 dollars each.  that's why they cut off a chunk of the best seats.  people who like annie lennox, more than likely will pay whatever to see her.  just like bruce and van halen.  just makes me upset that they do this for some acts and other acts i've had no problems getting primo seats with the general public on sale, just like everyone else has a fair chance.  but my inner snit is over.  i got front row to see dark star orch. in frederick.  
 
 and besides, only a true fag would know that hannah whomever even went on sale today.

so as long as you get front row you're a fanboy, but as soon as you strike out it's a corporate conspiracy?  newsflash: you're not going to get killah seats everytime, especially for a show in demand.  every now and then, even the best strike out.  deal with it, stop whining that the pitcher must be cheating    
 
 my main complaint about TM is surcharges.  tickets to QOTSA in philly tonight are $25 face... but snag a pair on TM and you're charged $77 total - more than a 50% mark-up, it's like paying for a third f*cking ticket that you don't get.  unacceptable.

 it does seem strange though that when i went on at ten, there were no center section seats in the front orch available.  not a one.  except on stubhubb.  the same thing happened when i tried to get cure seats.  no front section floor seats.  except on stubhubb, when they went on sale.  just saying it's a strange, julian.  no need to be rough and toughy.

 there were plenty of right and left orch available . . . but not a single, front section center.  they started the sale at row e left, or at aa center (which is middle orch).  so your shit is not smelly at all.  i was just bitching because, for 115 each, i wanted a halfway good seat that wasn't against the far left or right side.  i like to bitch sometimes.  i am bitch sometimes.  but i worship great seats all the time.

I was able to get center row F, and I was on about the same time you were.  The first couple of things that came up I blew off, then accepted CTR Row F once it became apparent things weren't going to get any better.  
 
 But as bad as Ticketbastard is, did it occur to you that you weren't the only one with an internet connection trying to get tickets to a popular artist playing at a small venue. And they too were paying $115 and wanted good seats?  If anything the students at GWU were able to get better tix at a discount $50, should we hate them too?
