I had a Union Craft Anthem Cream Ale.  I didn't really care for it as the hops were overpowering.

Had Parabola on tap on Saturday at GBD. Great as always, but definitely on the boozier side this year than past versions. Needs a year or so to mellow out. Really wish I found a bottle this year.

i'm definitely going to give this one a try.  i think a belgian pale is a great style.  should be a good beer as long as they made the Old Bay a background note, something subtle.  hopefully they didn't brew something that tastes like a quarter pound of Old Bay mixed with bubbly water.

wow, they still had some on saturday?!?  we were there on thursday when they tapped it.  didn't think it would last that long. 

yeah, it's definitely young and had some heat in it but it's still really drinkable.  certainly more so than fresh BCBS.  should be incredible in a year.

Have you had the Hardywood Cream Ale? You might like it. Pretty easy to find as it's from Richmond.
The can drops some historical info too.

Pretty easy to find if you're in VA. It's not quite in DC yet, and definitely not in Baltimore, where Atomic lives.

I think Bell's and Founders are now being confused?
Bell's has always had crappy labels, except Hopslam is kinda clever.
Crappy label art is now almost a given on good brews.

Best Labels on crappy to meh brews.
Maybe Kona?

Bell's has always had crappy labels, except Hopslam is kinda clever.
Crappy label art is now almost a given on good brews.

Oberon has a very pleasing color scheme and logo. I enjoy the subtle interplay of the blue and orange together with the slightest hint of teal thats perceivable to the trained eye.
