Had a great time, the only real suggestion I could offer is with the water refill and water sales.  More water refilling areas would be great, I understand there is a supply issue but if there is a way to get more water there it would be great.

Since the liens for the refilling stations were so long we often set out to buy water.  Unfortunately the only places to buy water were also some of the busiest - The Bars.  The huge selection at the bar was great, a very nice touch but it made the line move slow (since there were so many choices and things to make).  When I simply wanted a water I had to wait 20 minutes in the bar line to get it.  Maybe next year there could be dedicated water only sales places, the turnover time is very low since the only choice is water (I have seen this at other festivals and it works really well)

Thanks for the great festival, everyone seemed to enjoy themselves and hopefully it was successful enough to go again next year.
i don't know where you were... but i never had any issue either day of walking up to a counter to buy a bottle of water. i think the longest line i was in was maybe two minutes. max. nearly every single vendor had water to sell it seemed. [/b]
I should clarify that this was only on Saturday, Sunday was a breeze getting to any vendor.  On Saturday we picked a "random" food line in the long section of food and found they did not do water.  Lesson learned, waled up to the front of the line at the SoCo place to see if they had water before waiting in line, found they did not either.  Another vendor did lemonade, but again no water.

All directed us to the sign that said water (at the bar/beer/drink booths) and at least on Saturday all around the main stage and dance area the lines were fairly long in duration, granted this was between sets when everyone was walking out looking for a drink.

It was just a bit of constructive criticism, I remember at places like Coachella there were dedicated water only booths, at Lolla they were water/beer/wine but the total number of choices was like 5 (2 beers, 2 wines or water) making the line move well.

I love the bar availibility at Virgin, but it does make for much slower lines and slower waits for water.

Had an awesome time this weekend first time ive been to a festival this big.

 highlights:
Ben Harper was great really surprised me because i have only listend to a few of his songs.
Beastie Boys was easily the best band of the weekend for me IMO.
Bad brains was the band i really came the weekend for and they were insane my favorite band on the fest and i caught H.R. hat.
Velvet Revolver was awesome and to see slash live was just amazing.
Smashing pumpkins  was a great with a intense set and which made it better was i finally crowd surfed me bein a 270 pound guy  never thought i would ever do that but i did.

 low lights:
missing cheap trick due to the traffice back up
and leaving early during the police set i felt like shit.

I will be back next year no matter what bands are playing but i really really hope Pearl Jam will play v fest next year.

How was the crowd at TVOTR?  I found it too hard to pass on the Beastie Boys but I love TVOTR and really wanted to see them.

Speaking on behalf of someone who got plowed in the head by easily 30 crowdsurfers during Pumpkins alone, I second that statement.
