I didn't think I could be sad after that domination of BYU and another fun day of bike racing. I was wrong.

I say this as a Red Sox fan who also follows the Nats, but Papelbon sure is a major league dick......

How many different ways can I say 27>34?

Truthfully,  I threw something up on FB and then went back to the game.  By the time the Halo's pulled through,  I was too drunk to come back here...

Brad Ausmus let a recently injured pitcher throw 54 pitches in an inning

So hyped we get this guy back next season to manage.

Even if you don't want to read the article, check out the totally awesome interactive chart in this. Great statistics.

after giving up 3 in bottom of 7th to fall behind 6-2, Royals score 5 in top of 8th in typical KC fashion: single, single, single, single (6-3), single (6-4), 2 run error (off both pitcher AND SS's gloves, ruled E6, 6-6), SB, BB (bases loaded again), ground out (7-6)...... 5 runs on no extra base hits.... now 7-6 going into top 9....
