In anticipation of the east coast ticket sales here is a funny video of a Radiohead taping. Some people go to shows and tape for fans to listen to later. Sometimes in those tapings you can hear other people chatter and whatnot. Usually the talking wouldn't be from the tapers themselves, well not in this case. This recording was put up as one of the first ones from the start of the tour. However throughout the whole recording you hear talking and it was from the tapers haha. Some of the best comments were cut out from the recording and put into this upload. Quite hilarious ;D

Does anyone know what time the tickets go on sale today?
-
maybe 10 ;D
-
T'was my guess. Thanks :) You all are always so helpful (with just the right amount of cynicism)
-
thanks ;D
-
So is the band still putting tickets up on their site like they used to? Haven't tried to buy tickets since the Hail to the Thief era.
-
still not on sale damn it
-
try 11
-
I can't even get on their site.
-
just got in and already sold out? nice.
-
GONE.
annoyed.
-

-
Are you going through their web site?
-
Are you going through their web site?
yes.
-
not a god damn ticket shit fuck
-
Oh lord, that's right...WASTE. So true to its name.
-
Lame - had tickets but the checkout took so long because of timeouts they released them.
-
keep refreshing, it said sold out when I first went in as well.
-
even more annoyed.
-
nothing
-
trying is fun. i love ticket sale days.
-
They cannot hide from mother nature. Even though they've moved the show indoors, something will get screwed up.

I got to input THREE times I wanted tickets and EACH time, was shut out.
ugh.
At least I have seen them twice.

Radiohead sucks

-
I got to input THREE times I wanted tickets and EACH time, was shut out.
ugh.

Ha - at least you didn't get tickets in your basket - go through 3 of their million checkout steps (with each page timing out for several minutes), and find out the tickets were released because you spent more then 5 minutes on one page (again because of time outs). Sigh. Not bitter at all.
-
I couldn't even get past the tour page. Weak.
there's apparently a LiveNation presale tmmw at 10am. PM me for the password.
-
ok got Jersey night two ticket GA ;D
-
Got to the last page of the checkout process - > processing error - > sold out.
-
ahhhhhh . . . . had 1 for dc, and the page just sat there and sat there and sat there and timed out.
-
why do they bother?
-
I got 112/121. I have WASTE down to a science.
-
i got my seats for DC ;D
by the time i made it through, GA was sold out.
why do they bother?
n=1 isn't something decisions should be made on. WASTE has just hooked me up... so it's a wash?
definitely keep trying!
-
Finally snagged some!
Keep trying folks. Seems like people are giving up and those tickets are making their way back into the system.

I'll bet they add another DC show.
-
I'll bet they add another DC show.
It's odd that they don't have a show scheduled for that Saturday but I was thinking maybe an SNL appearance is in order (that is if SNL isn't already in re-runs by then).
-
Doesn't SNL break by then?
-
Yes they break.
Eight times....and I'm done.
-
They cant play 4 nites in a row
-
tickets are still coming up but say sold out when trying to add to the cart.
-
They were already on SNL this season
-
tickets are still coming up but say sold out when trying to add to the cart.
that has been my problem.
-
I know they're weak little British dudes, but come on. Playing 4 nights in a row in 2 cities IS doable.
-
I'll bet they add another DC show.
they won't. they've generally been playing every other night this tour (guys are getting old, i guess). back-to-back shows have been a rarity on this tour. however, they're already doing back-to-back before coming to DC (Newark x 2) and will be doing another set of back-to-backs immediately after DC (OH x 2). so if they were to add another DC date, they would play 4 shows in a row... not gonna happen, unfortunately.
-
And this is why I've never tried to get Radiohead tickets. Sounds like a headache, just gonna throw out some feelers for friends, shit always comes up from other people. Is it for sure sold out now?
-
Yessss. Finally got a 112/121 ticket after an hour of refreshing and getting shut out over and over and over.
This will be my first Radiohead show.
-
Well, that's sort of sad in a way. They're not THAT old.
-
just because you can't get tix?

Because I have already seen them twice and I don't feel like fighting for tickets.
So, yes, because I tried to buy them 8 times and couldn't even put them in my basket.

Technically 2.01 times because I had just walked into Bull Run when it started to pour.

germany is still available . . . oh wml7.
-
reminder: this was only for a small portion of the tickets. these were all high quality tickets (floor and front lower bowl) but TM will still have tickets in these areas - and a lot more. Waste has half of the floor AT MOST, and it's probably less. still lots of chances to get in on the show (with the added advantage of the process being on better systems that can handle the huge volume)
-
The ticketmaster site said something about "Ticketmaster Paperless Tickets " for this tour. i wonder if it applies to this show.
-
for all the shows on the tour so far, the prime TM tickets (floors and best lowers) have been paperless. you swipe your credit card on the way in and they print out your ticket on the spot. Waste tickets has been at will-call, pick them up before entering the venue.
-
Yup - these tickets will be held at will call. You need a photo id to pick up - which cuts down on scalpers.
-
I'm more annoyed at how the site kept crashing than not getting tickets. Had tickets in my cart twice, clicked pay, and then it crashed and didn't process. What's the point of wasting all my time on a presale if it's impossible to actually buy the damn things? This happened to everyone I know today. Would rather just deal with Ticketbastard.
-
not if you're wml7. he gets in to all the shows. he sleeps with the band.
-
haha, you know what happened with my jersey ticket. I had one GA in the cart for 20 mins. It was loading forever. Then it finally went to a blank page and timed out. Said page can't be found. I hit the back button waited for another 10 mins and it took me to the check out page, score ;D
-
There is a presale tmmw through Live Nation at 10.
For those who I asked, I've given the presale pw to most people.
Are there any known scalper aliases on the board though? Because I've had a fair amount of low-post handles message me for the pw. I don't want to be feeding the fire. Maybe I'm just paranoid or something.
-
if you have an account on ticketmaster . . . they emailed you the password. just got mine.
-

you going walky? Thom Yorke loves cats ;D
-
Can someone hook me up with the PW please??
-
I'm not going to post the PW but it seems to be the go-to one for multiple Live Nation shows (as I just used it for Iron Maiden last week). They've posted it on their FB page in the past, if you see a pre-sale PW that resembles a musical instrument then you're good.

Wait is this THE sonickteam?!?!
Radiohead sucks
-
Well that sucked.
-
lol, what an intense few minutes. I pulled a seat near the front of section 109. I'm satisfied.
-
I am wondering if the Verizon Center will be selling hard tickets tomorrow or just giving you a receipt you need to bring back with your CC to get in. If they're selling hard tickets, I wonder if this means they won't have any sections that are typically paperless.
-
Pulled 2 for section 110 at 1008a
-
I didn't even have the OPTION to purchase tickets until about 10:06.
Luckily my friend scored a pair in 102!!!!! wooooo!
-
anyone able to pull floors?
;D

i suspect they will be selling paperless tickets tomorrow, and that if you get a chance to buy any you'll get a credit card receipt after your purchase is made. to get in on the day of the show, you won't need that receipt - just the credit card.
-
I didn't even have the OPTION to purchase tickets until about 10:06.
That REALLY sucks. Had folks gathering in my office for a 10am conference call. I only had times for two tries and those took about a minute.
Will try again tomorrow :(
-
I didn't get to pull a single ticket. So crazy. That was worse than the Foo Fighters presales, LOL.

I would be VERY bitter had my friend not pulled a pair. I've never seen that happen before.
-
wml7 has 8 extras
-
haha, nope ;D
-
Yeah, that blewed.
-
I got through right away with a pair in 107. Decided to throw those back and try for a better single-seat, but never got anything after that. I only tried for a few minutes though. I didn't have any site issues or delays - just a lack of tickets.
-
Maybe I refreshed too much? ha
-
anyone able to pull floors?
;D
I was trying for a friend (got mine through Waste yesterday) and pulled 4 floors with no problem.
-
I have dozens of Radiohead tickets for shows across the nation that I'm giving away to poor kids in China who make my electronics. You know, just to say "thanks"
-
thom yorke would approve of this.
-
thank goodness i did not get tickets for this . . . i just realized i leave for the beach the day before the show.
-
Given the likely coincidences of a DC Radiohead show and a terrorist attack that wipes out all of DC, I guess it's fortunate that I'll be overseas at that time.
Looks like Walky and I will then have the board to ourselves.

Third time is the charm, good luck with all who are trying to still get tickets this morning. If everyone is successful we will have a big meet up and talk about different beers made by budweiser ;D
-
"tickets not available online".
as soon as 10 am rolled around.
-
First attempt I asked for main concourse - nothing.
2nd attempt I got section 401. No thanks!
-
That 2nd time included about a minute in the "don't refresh page". Kinda got hung up in this weird cycle and then I got thru.
-
all sections are $69.50?
-
Wait is this THE sonickteam?!?!
Radiohead sucks
it is. and i pulled some Radiohead luck out of my bum and got 2 in Section 111. trying for Camden but looks to be jammed.
-
i pulled up 400s twice, but i dont want those. i cant get anything now.
-
I pulled 400s and was ready to take them, but got a "could not purchase" error when I went to checkout. That was at 10 on the dot. Nothing since--not even singles appear to be available anymore. Ticketmaster makes me love Ticketfly.
-
No problems here...pulled two in Section 101.
-
Pulled 101, Row L through Ticketmaster. Kind of amazed.
-
Glad to hear some people got lowers today. Sucks on my end but that's the way it goes.
-
get yer hate ready: pulling for a friend, got 2 floors. he actually wanted seats so it's now possible that the missuses will be seated while he and i go hang out in GA - tbd ;D
-
402 - nosebleed, baby!
congrats to the lowers

-
all sections are $69.50?
yeah, complete b.s.
-
I had 2 good seats for the Camden show. Went to checkout and my order timed out. now all i can get is lawn.
Pretty disappointed in Live Nation for that one
-
this is to everybody who is going . . . and i'm sure those who did not get today, will. enjoy the shoe.

Who'd have thought I'd EVER agree with the Westboro Baptist Church:
"As At Ease notes, a note on the Westboro website about the protest referred to Radiohead as "freak monkeys with mediocre tunes" who "keep you busy and focused by lightness."

fine, but then you're stuck with a ticket to a WSP show... ;D
Ten Club
very true. TC emphasizes rewarding loyalty (i.e. how long you've been a member). Waste seems to be more into rewarding perseverance & insomnia/sleep deprivation.

Packt and HTDC - lucky bastards.
my surprise fav off the new album is Magpie. way more rockin' live, almost has a punk edge to it.
-
Hey guys if people are looking for tickets for NJ they are up on ticketmaster now. I got floor for 5/31
;D
-
gaddamit. i just pulled floors for the friday show, but in a fit of responsibility i threw 'em back. i've already seen them on this tour, and will be seeing them at Verizon... i just couldn't justify it. had i pulled floors back when these shows first went on sale i would have grabbed them and dealt with the consequences, but with a slightly calmer head now i'm doing the right thing.
being responsible sucks.
but thanks for letting us know, wml7 - for that you get a ;D
-
FYI, single tickets keep getting released. Yesterday was a 400-something ticket, today I pulled section 112, row N. I'll bet more will be let go.
-
I just pulled up 2 in sec 229, row F.
Almost decided to get them.
-
no tickets at all for dc now. i'm just looking for a single ticket. will someone please post if they come across another ticket drop?
-

I'd just check as you're available througout the day. I was pulling 400's and 200 level seats all day yesterday.
-
Lily, I'd check again mid-morning. Really odd how they just randomly show up. I am thrilled that I got section 112. I'll keep looking periodically.
-
Isn't Stubhub part of Ticketbastard? There's a whole section of seats in section 112, up to 16, for sale on SH. I bet those magically get released.
-
There are tickets available now. 113/120
-
Even though it's a Sunday night, the metro usually is running after concerts at Verizon usually, right? I'm thinking it would be easier to drive from Baltimore and take the metro in rather than drive and park at Verizon.
-
Tickets are up now go get em.
-
Never mind. That was a joke. Would have been a good setlist :)
-
just pulled section 120, row r. i'm happy. see you all there!
-
Looking forward to show tonight in Newark, but nervous. . . .trying to plan for all contingincies!
-
you'll be fine. disaster only strikes here in DC.
-
Has anyone been able to snag a pit ticket since they released this new batch of tickets? I need 1 more terribly.
-
Also, does anyone think it's plausible to maybe pick up a pit ticket outside of verizon center on sunday? I assume it would be a lot like the club where there are always people looking to unload tickets for people who are no shows.
-
people outside of shows at verizon selling tickets, i do not trust. my opinion. i always think you take too much a risk getting screwed on a fake ticket.
-
for a radiohead show i'd feel safe trusting folks there. if someone sells you a physical floor ticket, it means they got it through WASTE (the fan club) - and my experiences with RH fans have been nothing but positive (at times positively weird, but all positive).
otherwise the person will have a TM paperless ticket, so you'll have to walk into the venue with him/her. kinda hard to screw that one up.
-

You're also afraid of black people.
To be honest, this is the first ticket I haven't bought from someone outside of the Verizon Center in about 7 years.

good lord . . . you get one comment . . . you're an asshole. not afraid of those or sticking something in them to make them shut the fuck up. i was talking about getting a fake ticket, like the time i did, in dc. no other objectives or hidden messages. never again will i buy tickets for shows on the sidewalk. and i feel dumb trying to sell them, so i stopped doing that as well. good lord, the nerve.

Great success... BUT this is also based on how many tickets are being sold online prior to the show. A recent example is the Black Keys show. There were literally over 1,000 tickets for sale on Stubhub leading up to the show. I went down about 10 minutes before show time and picked up 100 level seats for over 50% off the sales price. I haven't paid attention to the Radiohead market since I already have tickets.

i'd expect people to have decent luck finding something outside the show on sunday night. because of the paperless thing, if anyone has an extra they couldn't unload it on SH, ebay, or any of the usual outlets. if i was looking i'd ask around a lot and/or make a little sign. be sure to hit up the folks waiting in the GA line. for the two shows that i saw in TX, there were folks in line that had an extra or two but didn't actively sell them b/c they didn't want to look like scalpers, were afraid of being busted, etc.
dunno if you're going to get 50% off, but i'd expect one's chances to be pretty good.
-
Was lucky enough to get tix while riding Amtrak back from Philly today. Took two tries but it all worked out. Have never seen these guys before.
-
Caribou was awesome as the opener so dont you fuckers miss them.
;D
-
i plan on checking out the opener.
-
Man, Radiohead is lucky they're not playing in DC tonight. Could you imagine the wrath?
-
Whats the weather like there now? Freezing and windy here in Jersey still no rain though which is good.
;D

@Chris_Richards: Tornadoes headed toward DC? Could only mean one thing: RADIOHEAD IS COMING. Here's David "Nostradamus" Malitz in March: wapo.st/KygmZV
-
Why won't they play Talk Show Host anymore? For shame.
-
Why won't they play Talk Show Host anymore? For shame.
uh, because they have a catalog of over 200 songs and they can't please everyone all the time? ;D
they played TSH on the last tour. also, the band said they practiced 70 songs for this tour and so far they're up to about 50. there is still a chance they will break out TSH.
-
any of you nuts get floor for show?? How early you guys showing up?? Are there any good noodle places around verizon. I know chinatown is there but hell it's not really a chinatown anymore is it? Pseudotown
;D
-
Every Verizon show I've seen over the years, I've taken the Metro.
Now I live in Virginia Beach, so I'll be making a day trip up to see Radiohead tomorrow.
Any recommendations for the best parking lot in that area? Should I just park at Verizon? Where is there even an entry for parking there? I thought about parking somewhere south and taking the Metro, but it seems like a hassle.
-
I just came back from nyc this morning and they are working on the metro rails. So if people park at vienna they cant go all the way into the city. They have to get off at west falls church to take a shuttle to east falls church then back on the metro. This probably wont matter to you serpent because you might get on metro at another stop if u take it. I would def take metro instead of dealing with driving into dc.
;D

chinatown express (746 6th street) is the place - the fried noodle w/chicken, beef or pork is excellent.

Excellent will have to check it while im down there ;D

they keep them open a little later I think if there is a sports or concert event. Someone else correct me if I'm wrong.

You can go to www.wmata.com and plan a trip on Metro, in terms of needing a train leaving after a certain time. There are trains leaving Gallery Place tomorrow night several times between 11 PM and midnight. The show should be over by 11 at the latest.
I took Metro back from the Verizon Center a couple of months ago for Springsteen and it was fine. Not very crowded after the show with other riders, either. Radiohead may have more metro riders, though, being a younger crowd.
There are some good and less expensive places to park a few blocks away from Verizon. I've used a garage on either F or G close to the intersection with 13th (but between 13th and 14th) several times before. It's far enough away that it doesn't charge inflated "event parking rates".
-
metro is a total nightmare these days.. i try to avoid it when i can..
-
looks like all lines on metro are experiencing delays this weekend due to single-tracking: http://www.wmata.com/rider_tools/metro_service_status/rail_Bus.cfm? - could be a 2 minute delay, or could be 20. plan accordingly.
show will definitely be over by 11, so plenty of metro left to take you home (last trains are around or after midnight). caribou go on around 7:30, RH on stage between 8:30 and 8:45 (typically closer to 8:45).
i'm getting pretty damn excited over here ;D

I'm leaving hella early to make sure I get into DC at a decent time. My only concern is getting back. I'm taking the metro from vienna (or east falls church if the construction is as bad as some on this board have suggested). Are we sure that Caribou are going to be off the stage that early? I've been to shows before where the single opening act have played an hour 15 minute set as opposed to the normal 45 minute set. I'm affraid that RADIOHEAD won't be going on till 9:15, 9:30. Should I be worried about not being able to make a train from Gallery to Metro Center in order to jump on the orange line to make it home?

Also, I'm extremely excited over here as well. ;D

Caribou was on at 7:30 on the dot in New Jersey both nights. Radiohead was on about 840-845 and done 11. Going to be great

if you don't get anything good through TM, check out CL - lots on offer there.
-
well, i'm still in need of 2 tickets.
i'm really not trying to pay much more than face.
I can pull from TM, but those are in 120. would that still be a decent view of everything?
can anyone help a fellow boardie out?
-
120 won't be bad, but a slightly less angled side-view would obviously be better. on the upside you'd be up close. and i won't give away more than saying that they have a unique projection/light system which is pretty good from any angle.
find anything good on CL?
-
Tried that noodle place it was ok. Dumplings were a rip off but noodles ok. About 100 or so in line now for floor ;D

I've been looking on CL for the past couple hours and might have found some nice stuff, I'm just waiting to hear back. I'm playing the negotiating game with some of these scumbags, but I know my limits. And I'm very patient ;)
Worse comes to worse, my friend and I will just find something outside the venue before the show.
-
*ahem*
I am pulling up floor seats on TM right now.
-
do we know more or less tonight's set times?
thanks!

They usually go on 840-45 till 11

hope everyone has a great show tonight!

Fantastic show :)

Definitely a good show. I have a few complaints--no "How to Disappear Completely," still don't understand why they're playing "Meeting in the Aisle" over so many other great and undervalued B-sides, the second encore was almost too dreamy and low-key--but, in general, had a great time. I thought "The National Anthem" feat. Queen Elizabeth and "You and Whose Army?" were the highlights of the night.

THE QUEEN speaking ahead of THE NATIONAL ANTHEM was almost too classic to define. I freaked out when they came back on and played YOU AND WHOSE ARMY. Was hoping for that all night. The re-imagined MEETING IN THE AISLE was a great surprise as well. Overall, an amazing set from the greatest band in the world. My only gripes:
1) No Myxamytosis: They have played it throughout the tour and somehow deemed it not fit for this show? That ain't right.
2)Didn't close the beginning set with IDIOTEQUE. C'mon... I know they messed it up in NJ 2 nights ago... That doesn't mean you scrap it from the entire show.
3) WEIRD FISHES: REALLY? Yr not going to play the song that many deem the sole reason they got into IN RAINBOWS...
I'm not going to be the one who degrades the entire show for these missteps, but the fact that they didn't touch these songs at all leaves me begging for more. C'MON RADIOHEAD! DO US A SOLID!
-
OVERALL, an amazing show and time. RADIOHEAD were completely on point and had me grooving the entire time. ;D
-
Another awesome show. The line getting in for the floor was crazy. Usually they have been letting people in in a somewhat orderly fashion in other cities. For some reason Verizon fucked shit up by letting in people early but then stacking them all in this small room before the floor entrance. In the end it was a mad dash for the floor. Really crazy.
How did you guys like Caribou's set? I ended up being two rows off center rail and they sounded awesome in DC compared to NJ. Radiohead had a great setlist. I wished they play HTDC as well but they played MITA and Go To sleep, so that should do. Good times
;D
-
I'm going to put on my flame retardant suit prior to making this comment, but does everyone of their tunes from the past three albums or so sound exactly the same? I'm not saying it was a bad show, but quite monotonous, addmittedly I'm not a die hard Radiohead fan either.
Bring back the guitars.
-
I thought it was a great show, but I'd agree with Yada that it was a bit monochromatic. "Identikit" and "Supercollider" should be dropped completely. If you're going to play newer stuff, throw in an "All I Need". There's nothing wrong with recent Radiohead, but pulling out one or 2 more oldies, even stuff from Hail to the Thief, would be a welcome addition. Especially in the encore. At least the show happened though, and a tornado didn't rip off the roof of the Verizon Center. Going by that alone, I'd say it was a massive success. Incredible stage setup too.
-

We have a winner. I'm still stunned they had the gumption to play You and Whose Army. That's a song, like Talk Show Host, the band seems to cool to play anymore.
-
Well i was very excited for the show....and i can't say it disappointed but the Verizon Center is just such the wrong place for them. I had decent seats...but still no one really else "getting into the music" around me. The whole things just weird there really. Its a shame the Jazz Fest kept this show from being at Merriweather.
I love every Radiohead song just about so I'm always happy with the songs they play and understand they can't play em all but....
my ninth Radiohead show and one song (other than new stuff) was played that i'd never seen live before. (MITA)
The encore was just all wrong to me. I'll definitely be leaving two songs early in Jersey so beat traffic.
One thing i always liked about Radiohead was how their setlist was so fluid from start to finish. But not this time. Their constant changing of instruments between every song made the whole show seem a bit disjointed.
Other than that. they are still better than anyone else around. Just wish they would tour more than once every four years around here.
-
wow..sounds like it sucked...
Verizon is to be avoided like the plague.
-
First time seeing them and I'm not a huge fan. The show definitely exceeded my expectations and I will definitely see them again. That being said, I was also thinking that a different venue, like Merriweather, would have provided a better vibe for the show, especially since the floor was filled only half way. This gave the feel that the place wasn't even close to a sell out. They could've sold a couple more thousand GA's instead of making people by level 400 nosebleeds. I'm sure there are firecode reasons but still seemed like there was plenty of room for additional GA's.
-

That is exactly the reason the floor is only filled so far.
-
First time seeing the band and all expectations were exceeded. But, then again, I really enjoyed the encores.
Did nit enjoy listening to the drunken a-hole screaming for Karma Police all night. Nor the other guy who thought it was funny to yell just to be heard.
Hope to catch them again.
-

Floor Tickets were available on ticketmaster yesterday afternoon. I didn't try but it wouldn't surprise me to find out that GA tickets were available at the box office.
-
so they didn't even sell out the floor??? WTF?
-
you missed out should have gone even the VP was there
;D
-
I loved the show. It was my first Radiohead concert and they were much better than I ever expected.
"Give Up the Ghost" was stunningly beautiful live. I thought almost every song performed sounded better live than on any record. Even the beat-oriented stuff like "Feral" and "The Gloaming" was excellent.
The guitar-driven songs definitely pumped up the crowd the most. "Airbag," "Paranoid Android," "National Anthem," "Bodysnatchers," "There There," and "Go to Sleep" were electrifying.
I was also surprised they didn't play "Weird Fishes" or "Myxamatosis" or "Idioteque" but I won't complain. The set was brilliant as it was. I would've only swapped out "Reckoner" for "Idioteque" or "Everything In Its Right Place."
The crowd in section 121 was a hell of a lot less animated than I thought they'd be. There were definitely some people dancing and singing along, but a lot of people seemed bored, sat through songs like "Codex," and left before the second encore. Weirdly, most of the people around me seemed most excited for anything from In Rainbows.
-
I bought section 113's for a friend day of show., which is awesome because ticket drops screw the scalpers.

I think the reason they didn't play Idioteque is because something was wrong with the board. We saw their tech guy Duncan from the floor fooling around with it for awhile and then removing something. I guess they didn't want three nights of bad Idioteque
;D

Glad I skipped it. Sad it wasn't at Merriweather.

I've seen them at Merriweather. The lighting and stage setup may not have worked as well there. In fact, when I saw them there in 2003, it seemed a bit stripped down. They made the most of the space and I don't see what was wrong with Verizon. I've seen them off and on since 1995. To see how they've evolved in that time is remarkable. Very glad I went. I'd go see them again on this tour if I could.
-
I'd go see them again on this tour if I could.
Why? To see the exact same songs again in the exact same order?

Cuz he likes the band and had fun. Duh.
-
Because if you follow the band, not every night is the same, and the order isn't the same. Why should I have to justify why I want to see a band more than once on a tour anyway? Why do people ride rollercoasters more than once? Why do people eat at the same restaurants more than once?

i loved the show, but y'all already knew that.
truth be told, this was my third time seeing them this tour and the other 2 shows were even better - or at least more enjoyable for me, since i was dealing with some group dynamics on sunday. also, i was in the seats this time whereas for those first two i was down in front. show highlight for me was go to sleep --> the gloaming. i'll never get tired of the national anthem live. mr magpie is my sleeper hit off the new album - sounds so much better live. give up the ghost is indeed a damn pretty song.
hopefully it's not 4 more years until the next dose. they're my favorite band to see live.
-
I'd go see them again on this tour if I could.

Ive seen them 5 times this tour, with more to come

excuse me sir, your ignorance is showing.
you're welcome.

I had heard the show before the verizon center that had messed up during idioteque, not that the board broke. Broken equipment does seem like the most logical reason.
-
they messed up idioteque two nights in a row, in newark.
-
...and then they play it last night...
