In the spirit of Festivus, this is the thread for us to air our grievances with each other. Who wants to start out telling their fellow boardies how they've disappointed them over the last year?

If you and your partner were physically assaulted by Christian zealots and left to die in a ditch, and Fox News covered it, he'd champion for their release because "libtards. . . or something." Sweetcell - Can you just drop the whole "defender of all social niceties" thing? Your broken record is getting maddening. You know, Rhett (and I cannot believe I'm saying this, and trust me I will get to him) actually has some points on the Muslim thing. He takes it way to far, but there is a reasonable Bill Maher-esque view of "hey, look, this is the only religion that today, in the 21st century is doing these sort of things on a widescale" that maybe needs to be discussed. He takes it way too far, admittedly. But there is a certain retrogressiveness that lingers in MAINSTREAM Islam that way it does not in mainstream (insert other religion here). People can have a reasonable discussion about that. Not a discussion about banning immigrants or that shit, but an acknowledgment that of the worlds major religions the only one where 40+% of members actively think people who draw a picture of its figurehead should be killed. But you don't have that discussion. You just resort to a bunch of ad hominem painting Rhett like he's Mengele or something. Which, admittedly, is easy to do, but you should be above that.
Also, your defense of the fats is disgusting. They're our greatest social ill and the idea that the fat acceptance movement (smokers acceptance! heroin acceptance! healthy at any cancer!) should be in anyway normalized is disgusting. Disgusting.

I do think the Spicy Weiner branding has run its course. At this point, most major sausage and sausage-like manufacturers would have expanded their product line to include other versions, including low-fat, turkey, italian, ranch, chipotle, pumpkin spice and whatever they call that kind with the actual cheesy bits baked right into the tubesteak.

I also have a grievance against Seth this year... his participation on the forum has been too rare and too many of his posts this year have been kind of negativeish ("if you dont' like it...").... This is a community after all.
However, since I got to hang out on the balcony for Sleater Kinney and party like a rock star with him I'm holding my grievance in abeyance for one calendar year.
I do hope abeyance is a word. If not you know what I'm saying.

I would like to express a grievance against a guy who used to hang out all the time and post on the new season thread but the minute Man U went south he disappeared...I think he was a former Malvinas War veteran so he may have some PTS syndrome issues that may explain it..

who doesn't have self esteem issues? we live in a world where we are made to feel inferior from all angles, where famous fuckheads are our gods, and the beautiful skinny people are what we should strive to become. all I can say regarding my friendship with David, aka RB, is that my father is a minister, and a damn good one at that. I love my father dearly and respect the upbringing and teachings from my parent's hands that made me the person that I am today. I was taught to love all people, no matter if they love you or not. I was taught respect. I was taught understanding and acceptance of what other people believe . . . even if you think its a pile of horse shit. I am friends with rat bastard. I am friends with Julian.
