Not to dog-pile on Brian, but I just heard my first "Black Parade"-era My Chemical Romance song yesterday, and its nothing but a Queen rip-off.  At least songs like that "I'm Not Okay" track had a little angst to propel it along.

Back to Coachella, I do agree with Brian about the cost, but when you add in travel costs, time off and everything else, it's a pretty penny.  And considering you can see most of the bands in the next 6 months or so play full sets, it just doesn't add up.

Still, now that I can expense travel to Chicago for work, I'm gearing up for at least one of their summer festivals. Here's hoping Pitchfork turns out stellar.

UGH!  WTF?  No, thank you.  Classic rock sucks.  And baby boomers blow.

because watered down classic rock with added eye-liner is so much more interesting... [/b]

Roger Waters will turn in a performance far superior then many of the those so called great and relevant   current acts.

I'd much rather see a great three hour concert by one good act than three days of nonstop minisets by n great acts, if the price is the same.

(nothing exciting about it). Would have been better with PJ Harvey, Underworld, Chemical Brothers, Goldfrapp?? And guess what, the 3 day pass this year is $270!!!

roger waters not only toured recently, but his shows are mostly the same.  he's been playing basically the same shows since he started touring again in 1999.  take it from someone who's seen him 5 times since then.  not worth it.

What a lame ass lineup to pay hundreds and bake your ass off in 100+ degree weather for.

Ah, the answer to the great mystery of why No Doubt aren't scheduled to appear at Coachella.  I'm sure many of you were heartbroken.

Apparently Gwen's knocked up, and much like "Juno," she's deciding to keep the baby despite that fact that it's father may be the lead singer of Bush.

So.....what does everybody think?  Turkey baster or the "Tom Cruise" method?  I guess Gwen is REALLY passive agressive about not reforming No Doubt.

That was actually a pretty good line.
