Kraftwerk is huge. Most likely means a US tour.

interesting.  i saw gabriel in '92, one of my first "big" concerts.  it was amazing, to this day one of the best stage shows i've seen in terms of using technology creatively.  not saying that a festival set of his would necessarily live up to those standards, tho.

kraftwerk: if they're at vfest, no way that they'll be playing the club.  probably will have to go to philly (if not NYC) to see them in a club/theater.

verve & portishead: the 930 isn't be big enough.  it would indeed be a treat to see them there, but i'd expect them to book a bigger venue.

Obviously 9:30 Club would be preferable, but I'd go to Merriweather or Patriot Center for any of those. I don't care the venue, if Seth can get any of those to DC in 2008 he'll sell tickets to me!

That line-up defines "meh" so far.

I guess we can hope to see a good size chunk of those bands in this area a week or two before or after that weekend, though.

This... is not great. Saturday is pretty OK but on Friday all I'd want to see is The Verve and on Sunday, Justice and Spiritualized.

 Really blah.
