If you like a good Oregon pinot . . . Try Merriman Cummins road.
I will look that up, sir.

I like Willakenzie and Penner-Ash for Oregon Pinot.

Well, I don't want to derail Walkies excellent vino thread -- which was an excellent idea -- with vegetarian talk. That said, if we are talking Argentinian wine, I talk up Torrontes every chance I get.

I opened two great bottles last weekend, a Ken Wright Pinot noir 2010 (forget which hillside) that was wonderful. (I drink virtually no american wines but OREGON/Washington pinots are the exception). Also had a great Rioja from Spain that I'll have to look up tomorrow but was an excellent value at the $25-30 price point.

Maybe you should stop binge drinking and your stomach problems will go away and you can start enjoying filets again?

How two glasses of wine constitutes binge drinking, I'll never know.

Definitely an Italian wine snob here, I'll always go with an Italian bottle if it looks nice. Something about a super Tuscan or crisp glass of Frascati and I'm on cloud 9. But I'm also partial to Chilean wine. Love British Columbia too. Found a vineyard called Gray Monk that is just superb, but you can't find it here.
