i want to say the porterhouse ... on parliament in temple bar, a half block from my flat ... this guy played a really sped-up acoustic guitar set every thursday, the strumming was double or triple-time for every song, but it was great ...

by the way, i know its kind of hard to have a tourist bar as your local ... but i was living in temple bar! not many other options, although this great late-night dive, isolde's tower was on the first floor of our building ...

the porterhouse isn't that bad - the Oliver St John Gogarty - now theres a tourist bar! - I actually used to work at the 'original' porterhouse in Bray
