I saw them with Burning Airlines years back and it was painfully obvious that the music was as bad as Third Eye Blind or Fuel or any other disposable pop/rock act around that time but it was being played by guys in secondhand clothes and included the guitarist from Jawbreaker so somehow that made it acceptable to the crowd I guess.

Wow, I never post, but I had to say something to this. While I can see why someone wouldn't like the last two Jets To Brazil albums (I think the 2nd is mediocre, but the final one is solid), Orange Rhyming Dictionary is a fantastic record throughout. It is the only thing they did that comes close to the excellence of Jawbreaker. Saying it is as bad as Third Eye Blind and Fuel is insane. I saw Jets on their last tour at the Black Cat and they still put on a very strong show, even with a replacement drummer. Blake will always be one of my favorite songwriters and it is a shame he hasn't done anything in a while.

I'm not saying that they weren't a solid band live, it's just that it came off as very "rock by numbers" generic.
And I know Jawbreaker fans will never admit it but "Dear You" SUCKED.

I can admit a lot of the songs arent very original, but I still enjoy the album, I do think though that Bad Scene, Everyone's Fault is a great song
