as i was sadly far away from a computer and cell phone service friday morning when tickets when on sale, i'd be most grateful if someone had an extra ticket they might want to off load to a friendly forumite!

cell phone and web access had nothing to do with getting a ticket.  i had both, as did many others on this forum, and very very few of us scored tickets.  they just weren't available.  so don't feel bad  
 
 and with those kind words - looking for a ticket (ideally two) myself.  please let me know if you have one available.

quick update: pairs of tickets are averaging $280 on ebay.  between ebay and craigslist, i'd say at least 150 tickets are being resold.  through in stubhub and the like, i'm sure we're into the 200-300 range.
 
 so my guestimate is that at least a quarter of the tickets ended up on the secondary market, possibly more.  sweet.  
 
 930 needs to do something about these popular shows - bracelets, more will-call (either all tickets or random ones), printing names on tickets (or requiring receipts) and needing to show ID, not delivering tickets until a day or two before the show... something.  sucks that us regulars couldn't get tickets (despite putting in a valiant effort) while these leeches make a ton of money and the crowd is being packed with K Street'ers.

i'm REALLY surprised this show wasn't wristband like foo fighters last year.  that would have solved a lot of re-sale problems.

It is NOT up to the 930 club, it is up to the artist. I've attended will-call only shows of artists playing in small venues and all of them were will-call (other times non-transferable)because of the request of the artist. Obviously, Justin Timberlake doesn't care where the tickets go, but Wilco, Tori Amos, Foo Fighters, Prince, Tom Petty care......
