With the show in less than a week does a presale make sense, perhaps just put em onsale and the bodies fall where they may?  That is if this isn't utter bullshit.  Seems like No Doubt played the club in 2000, 2001 and it was announced a week earlier with tix at box office only 10am on a saturday, max 2, does that ring a bell, or is it a false memory?

I think the last Pumpkins 9:30 show (just prior to Mellon Collie) was the same deal.  Limited tix per order, will call only, announced only days prior.

They did an entire US tour that way.  Tickets were sold at various small record stores about a week before the show.  I'm sure the 9:30 was on the list.  I caught that tour at the Palladium in LA.

 not that he needs to build hype from rumours of a pumpkins 930 show.  
 
 i stood in line for 7 hours in 1999 to get tickets, but where i was (at a Hechts) there were WWF fans waiting for tickets too and the redneck family in front of me couldnt figure out where in the arena they wanted to sit and by the time they decided, no more Pumpkins tickets.
 
  i wont be trying so hard this time, though i may make an online attempt.
