I laugh when I read people blast one browser over another based on such absurd things as security, etc. Every browser has security issues, the biggest of which is the person operating it.
I use FF solely because I like the look and feel of it and that I can configure it exactly the way I want it. It renders pages well and is sufficiently fast.
I cannot use Chrome and it horrid interface, the lack of a menu at the top is alone enough to kill it for anyone other than a tablet user. It has a VERY awkward and highly non-intuitive interface.
I despise that scheme that IE uses in the address bar whereas part of the URL is dimmed and the rest is not. That is very difficult to read. Supposedly it highlights the actual domain of the address, and as such protects me form myself. In the end it is just a pain in the ass.
Of course my opinions may be a tad skewed. I was first in the on line world with a 300 baud acoustic coupler modem running a WWIV BBS. (Get off my lawn).
(Frank Zappa'a Watermelon In Easter Hay is a good song to uh, well yeah that, to.)
