I will always think he was "suicided" even after a sham investigation comes to the conclusion that he acted alone.

Far more plausible he killed himself given he already tried and failed. Would a professional hit of this import be likely to fail? I don’t think so.

In a prison facility like that and he was on suicide watch you gonna think they’d have a camera on his cell 24 seven

Suicide is just the worst

Berman was always a very reluctant live performer....

I was pretty surprised when I heard he was releasing a new album and shocked that he was going to tour

Then when I realized him and wife Cassie had split I became really worried

I could be wrong but Cassie was the one with the regular job and the breadwinner

My guess is Berman had no choice but to tour....remember he hadn’t worked- as far as I know- in ten years

And touring -particularly without Cassie (had he ever done that?) - was just unbearable

Very sad

About as unsurprising as Scott Hutchison, as both artists had flirted with suicidal thoughts in the past.  Doesn't make the sting any less.
