Yeah drugs really ruin legacies.....not
I recently read a biography of Bon Scott that laid out a pretty compelling case that he died from a heroin overdose and not alcohol... I always thought this was a strong possibility when I read years ago that on the night of death he had been hanging with Peter Perrett of the only ones (complete heroin junkie)... anyways... the book describes the circle of people Bon was hanging with those weeks in London and it’s so many heroin junkies, dabblers, dealers...very sad.. that same circle took the two guys from the Prrtenders too... it also apparently had something to do with the Iranian Revolution! Rich people fleeing Iran found it easier to get the money out in heroin and the heroin was really powerful..more powerful than what people in London were used to... I guess I can blame the Ayatollah Khomeini for Bon Scott’s death
