Yeah sorry, I don't respect God given talent that overdoses on Fent and Meth.  You do you, though. I Iost respect for Prince for the same reason.   But hey, at least they didn't molest kids, right?

Well you can respect it or not but drug overdoses haven’t really hindered legacies... If anything they may have helped!

Unless he was a big anti-drug advocate pushing for punishment of users, he's fine in my book.

Did he make stupid choices? Sure. Many of us have. It doesn't make the greatness of his musical output any less.

dude, addiction is a disease.  of the mind.  i would have thought you would have a little sympathy...

also, i've never understood people who can't separate art from the artist.  "yeah, that's the most beautiful song ever recorded, but the singer is a jerk so i don't like the song."
