I know, I want to say I saw them there too, but Setlist.fm isn't providing the deets on that
The wheels just fell off with Plastic Fang for whatever reason…they never recovered.. I actually think it’s their Exile on Main Street album in its LP incarnation with four more songs…it’s produced by Steve Jordan currently Stones drummer (and Wino) and like Exile even has a Dr John appearance
I think Acme was the beginning of the end, PF was the end (I actually got some plastic fangs somewhere that I got with purchase)Acme had some good tracks, but really was kind of a dud too
things were looking good to for JSBX around 95-97 with all the Beastie/Beck/Dub Narcotic SS associations
the experimental remixes and then the RL Burnside stuff
they seemed poised to break
I don't think I've listened to the legendary Exile album (guess that's Pussy Galore, not JSBX), but really didn't get into Exile since the pandemic started, so if I did hear it, it meant nothing. Guess I need to track that down
Meat and Bone had potential, and they started touring like crazy again, but by that time, the audience and music had just moved past them. Obviously three year world wide touring didn't really pay the bills or get the fans to show up
does suck for me and their 11 fans
The hit makers were fun, but not really a 'must see show' IMO
