Imagine his life if he said yes to Jimmy Page.

That single disc compilation of Terry Reid's 60s songs released in the US called Superlungs was a favorite listen of mine for awhile.  Last I recalled hearing anything about him, he had been reduced to playing dive bars, but according to The Wikipedia he had a successful UK touring career in the 2000s

if he had accepted page's invite, we wouldn't have led zeppelin.  would have been something different... maybe better, maybe worse, but given what zep became i'm perfectly OK with him turning down the offer and recommending plant and bonham instead.

now deep purple - that would have been a better fit, IMO - they were a revolving door of singers.

Eddie Palmieri

Absolute legend.

Fortunate to see him for free on national mall one year as part of DC Jazz fest…saw Wayne Shorter that same afternoon

Those were the days for Jazzfest.

At least we still have Hannah Lovell: "Touches of Richard Dawson, PJ Harvey, Nirvana" "Each song is its own world""Poetic and feminine voice with punk and metal riffs underneath""Deadpan humour and satire" "Marianne Faithful meets Sylvia Plath meets Baby from Dirty Dancing","The Pixies meets Waitrose"
