dude, it's disparaging to use the term "fairy" to refer to gay people (apparently, you don't know??). It makes you sound like a big, ignorant a*hole.

ding ding ding.  of course i'm aware of what the term "fairy" referred to, in this context.  i was pointing out how stupid you were for using it in that fashion.  chances are it never occurred to you that you were insulting a lot of people.

your uses of the words "fag" and "fairy" seem to imply that you have issues with homosexuals.  how modern of you.

I don't mind at all being called a fag, fairy or douchebag.  Something like "Springsteen devotee" or "Beatles fan" would be far more offensive.

P.S.  Ok...this silliness has gone on for much too long.  Let's get back to the Virgin Fest wish list.  I know someone who really wants to see Duffy there.  So I suggest Duffy.  With Bernard Butler would be a plus.

I listen to at least 5 bands that nobody has ever heard of.  4 of them don't even exist yet. Man, I am so much cooler than that guy that said he liked The Offspring.

Man...

Where does one begin with this thread?

Maybe it's best to not even try and just sit back and watch.
