just don't be that guy that stops at a sign/light, forgets to unclip in time, and just falls over.  it's quite amusing for the rest of us to watch, but it's no fun to be stuck to a falling-over bike. [/b]
been there, done that

and i agree..it is no fun

Oh hello, 1 handed typing is not so quick.

 Thanks for the best wishes.

It does not hurt right now so that is good.

but I am going to keep my arm in sling, which means no halo, which is bad.

I bought another bike just now, good, it could be while till I ride it,and someone is going to disslocate my other shoulder when they find out, bad.

typing with one hand is tough (broken hand here, no halo for me either), but i'm getting faster each day.

healing vibes to you.  i dislocated my shoulder catching a crowd surfer once.  pulled the mel gibson thing, popped it back in and finished the show.  it was a bad idea.  you did the right thing.

Damn fellas!  Pollard, Monk, medic, others - don't leave the house!  It's not safe!  Just stay in front of the TV and everything will be alright.

Actually, Smackette wants a new apartment so we're moving this weekend.  That will give you guys some time to recover.  Good luck fella's.

I would suggest that you buy a well-made and properly fitted pair of leather boots for the Mrs so that she can rightly kick your arse! Consider it sparing the other shoulder.

 Poor Markie.
 Poor, poor misguided Markie.

hey thatguy,

what did you do to your hand? I am not sure I am ready to become left handed...

I bought a surly cross check it is a fixie. It is a bike I had borrowed from a friend before. He sold it real cheap, it is a bit small for me, but with a long stem I found it comfy enough on a longer rider.

I really outh to sell one of my other bikes. I suppose the langster might have to go. But it is soo pretty. The preciouses.

 Ding ding DING!

But I really wanted a cross check, but I couldnt find one cheap. They have overlapping utility, but the cross check fits bigger tyres and is good for some lighter off-roading. Ideal for the C&O canal.

Than langster has no tyre clearance and is really a dedicated fast  fixed gear road bike.

As the cross-check can do everything the langster can and more, really the langster should go. But the cross check might prove to a be a bit small for me.

 I guess I like bikes.
