You know, putting all contract details aside, public relations goes a looong way in the business world. I suspect that the band understands this from the tone of their letter. It's one thing to be fiercely loyal to one's employer but it would do everyone well for certain employees to brush up on these skills.
Kind of goes along side that old addage, "Penny wise and pound foolish."
From past experience, I suspect that if anyone has such a heartship due to this change, I bet that the club would be willing to work something out quietly offline. But I don't know that for sure. It's just the impression that I've always had.
