Anyone know if they are cool with press people? A friend of mine is doing a story for the National Journal and needs to snap a few photos inside the venue. Do you think that they'd be OK with that?

 My bad -- I saw it on the wall in the club a couple weeks ago and loved it, but forgot the website listed on the botton.  when I got there at 10:00, bitch was sold out!!!!!!

 I snared one early and had them set it aside for later pickup.
 
 I was impressed Not too many young bands can pull off a full 75 minute set on one album.  They did get a bit self indulgent a couple time,  but it was hot and I was weary..

well, they may have gotten a bit self indulgent, but they also could have walked off at 55 or 60 minutes flat and left the crowd asking for more.  either way, man, what a fucking band.

ok calling it self indulgent is too harsh... there were a couple times when i thought the vamping got a bit tedious, which i think will improve over time... definite room for improvement on the guitar soloing front. a solid band i wont hesitate seeing again live if only because the rhythm section rocks!
 
 anyone else think the keyboard break in "mind's eye" sounds like it could have come off a styx or kansas record?

 Enjoyed the show, they're super fun, but I was exhausted after a couple of insane days at work...
