From  Secretly Canadian:

JASON MOLINA to release second solo record.
In the tradition of his Pyramid Electric Co release, Jason Molina has recorded a solo album with engineer, Jim Zespy at his studio, The Projects in Bloomington, Indiana called Let me Go, Let Me Go, Let Me Go. This will only be available at his upcoming live shows and will be officially released later this year.

Meh.  'Going Against Your Mind' is the best 10 minute song I've heard in a while, but the rest of the demos are a little flat and inconsistent.  Perhaps that will get fixed on the proper release.

ugh.. Roger Joseph Manning still isn't giving US fans any physical product love for his new CD "Solid State Warrior", it's coming out on CD in Japan but for the US market he's continuing the digital delivery method with Cordless records. a method which is still mac unfriendly...

Snow Patrol have announced that they will release their eagerly-awaited fourth album, 'Eyes Open', on 1 May.

Billboard reports that the album will be preceded by the single 'You're All I Have' on 24 April.

Among the songs on the 11-track album is 'Set the Fire to the Third Bar', a duet between Snow Patrol singer Gary Lightbody and Martha Wainwright.

Among the other guests who appear on the album are Ken Stringfellow of The Posies and Big Star, Iain Archer and The Vaselines' Eugene Kelly.

The full tracklisting for the album is:
 'You're All I Have'
 'Hands Open'
 'Chasing Cars'
 'Shut Your Eyes'
 'Beginning to Get to Me'
 'You Could Be Happy'
 'Make This Go on Forever'
'Set the Fire to the Third Bar'
 'Headlights'
 'Open Your Eyes'
 'Finish Line'
