One of these days, we will have a good electronic music promoter in dc who will bring a lineup like this here. Until then:

 Flying Lotus/Daedelus/So Percussion Quintette
 9/7
 Le Poisson Rouge
 NYC

Few shows on tickets.com I don't remember seeing here:
Kool Keith 10/3 (this may have been posted but I'm not sure so here it is again anyway)
Shudder To Think is with Pattern is Movement (who are pretty great)
 Dark Star Orchestra 11/7-8
 Umphrey's McGee 11/21-22
And you gotta hand it to some of these jambands for being wise businessmen and milking their fans' trust funds for all they're worth:
"Umphrey's McGee 2-Night Travel Package: Tickets to 11/21 & 11/22 Shows for 2 People, Hotel Room, Meals and More! Additional Charges Apply."
Jedi Mind Tricks w/ Outerspace & Reef The Lost Cauze 11/23
 Ghostland Observatory 12/13

oh, hell yeah.

 10/7 @ 9:30
The Bunny Boy Tour feat. THE RESIDENTS
 Tickets are already on sale

THE RESIDENTS present THE BUNNY BOY

The Residents latest performance, THE BUNNY BOY, will launch as a world tour in the fall of 2008. The show will combine music from the group's upcoming album, THE BUNNY BOY (Mute/SDR), with video taken from THE BUNNY BOY internet series, premiering early in September, 2008.

The story centers around an eccentric character, the bunny boy, whose search for his missing brother compels him to post videos on the internet as a "cry for help." As the story evolves, it opens up to interaction between the bunny boy and his audience, causing the narrative to twist and turn in odd and unpredictable ways. Spanning a gap between insanity and self realization, the loony, but affable bunny boy soon finds himself pursuing a goal no less vital than saving the world from Armageddon. It's a wild ride.

The stage design, by Chris McGregor (CUBE E, Wormwood, Icky Flix) will feature a unique "schizophrenic" layout that allows performers to move between musical, video, and theatric realms. Barraging the audience with imagery and sound, in typical Residents' style the performance radiates and savors the quality of a surreal circus. The group will perform their music live while integrating other visual and performance elements into an evening of riveting and unique entertainment.

I'm not sure which show would be worst...Umphrey's McGee, Black Crowes, Crystal Shit, or Slightly Stoopid.

But damn, the just announced thread is really racking up turds this week.

Jack Harlan (from CN) is the open mic feature on 9/3 at IOTA.
Peter Bradley Adams is at IOTA on 9/25.
Jennifer O'Connor added to Hayden bill at JJ.
Might not be what you're looking for, but better than some of the others above! ;)

Sorry dude, Crystal Shit was just a really bad joke that I posted when I was jacked up on coffee.  A joke I'm sad you did not get.

Don't be sad about something so trivial. There's much worse in the world to be sad about.

By the way, are they still doing a Doors show?
