I saw their last show there in 2004; it is a phenomenal place for a show.  Usually, the whole place is GA

ok phish fans and haters . . . have your favorite band beat this!!!!!!

on stubhub right now, a single ticket for one night of this three show concert, not even on sale through the fucking presale yet, is going for . . . . . . . upwards of $7000.00 a ticket, if the scalper gets them, that is.  take that babs.

jealous of this for ny'ers.
 http://nyphil.org/concertsTicks/subs_myPhil.cfm

MyPhil from the New York Philharmonic lets anyone 35 or younger build their own concert series for $29 per ticket. Nearly every Philharmonic concert is eligible for purchase, and the cheap tickets don't land you in the cheap seats.

By default, the tickets are sold for the best available seats, usually the second half of the orchestra, but you can switch to any section except for the center or front of the first tier. We highly recommend the stunning view from the front of the second tier.

A MyPhil subscription of three or more concerts also gets you a free year of Time Out New York, which by itself is worth far more than its $19.97 annual sticker price would suggest. Only one caveat: the philharmonic is a vicious fundraiser, and if you give them your phone number, they will call.

should this ticket sell, it would say little about the band.  it would mostly prove how pathetic phish fans are  :p

it says a lot about the band, if they "blindly" continue to let shit like this happen.

Bad experience?  I thought camping was pretty fun, although having the baking sun wake you up at 6 am was kind of a downer.

I went in '07 and the sun was just way too much and relentless from sunrise to sunset. Not sure how true this is but I heard many times that it was the hottest it's ever been. And being that we camp, there was no real escape from it. Also, the shower situation sucked. We drove down to some community pool in Palm Springs and hijacked their showers while a private pool party was going on. Unbelievably, nobody said anything to us (we must've looked like hell at the time). It was like we were completely invisible.
We were hot and gross again five minutes after we got out of the showers.
And speaking of Palm Springs, is everyone there a plastic zombified shell of a person? That's definitely how it seemed to us.
