Not that anyone else on here will care about this but:

New York, NY September 8, 2005 ?? In light of the recent tragedy affecting the Gulf Coast from Hurricane Katrina, The Disco Biscuits and various artists
will appear at a benefit concert to take place next Tuesday, September 13 at Spirit nightclub at 530 W 27th St. in New York City.
Tickets will go on sale on Friday, September 9th at 12:00 PM on Biscotix at

The Disco Biscuits will perform with a very special pair of drummers, Joe Russo and Mike Greenfield. Russo will also appear with two other acts ?? The Flying
Circus, which includes members of The Disco Biscuits, Fat Mama and Scott Metzger of RANA; and Danjaboots, featuring just Russo and Metzger. DJ Omen will
also appear.
Former Phish lighting director Chris Kuroda will work the massive light rig at Spirit, one of New York??s hottest danceclubs.
100% of the evening??s profits will be donated to charity. Specific charities are being carefully considered to maximize the use of the monies raised and
will be announced in the coming days.
Promoter Brian McEnany who produces the Zen Livetronica Festival series says, ??The basis of most modern music can trace it??s roots to the area affected
by this tragedy, so it only seems fitting that we use music as a way to help those in need.?
??This tragedy instantly transformed the mission of every music-oriented non-profit organization,? adds Brownstein, who formed the successful voter registration
organization HeadCount last year. ??New Orleans is a city that has always been at the heart of the grassroots music community in America. Assisting its
residents will be high on our agenda for years to come."
