the melvins are very hit or miss. ive seen them 4 times and they have twice ruled and twice bored me to tears. its hard to explain but i think im going to stick with the show at dc9 instead. usaisamonster & kites although if that wasnt goin on i would probably be at the melvins show.

i saw melvin w/jello on 10/31/04 in sf.  they did several dk songs.  great stuff.  at the end jello took off his shirt and dived into the crowd.   pretty scary.  big beer belly.  jello is also hosting the anti war show at the wash mtn on 9/24.

oy vey! I just realized Alejandro is playing 9/30 at 9.30 - now I have tix for him and the Pixies....and I wouldn't mind seeing Earlimart either...

It's very unlikely Alejandro will be touring again with his 9-piece rock orchestra. In fact, I'm not aware of him ever even playing outside Texas with the orchestra. That's the show to see.
