Gotcha... however,  I don't really consider Comet "a bar." Sure, it serves beer but do people really just hang out there? That's a bar desert area though.

yeah, but that part of town is DEAD after 10PM.  There is like nothing up in that part of Connecticut.  It's like CPP and that' s it
I bet if you were in Adams Morgan, Gtwon, Hst, Ust, the wharf, Dupont, Cap hill there would be places open
Although Monday night was always a pretty dead night, most restaurants don't even open that day too
