i actually think monday would be a good day to see arab strap ... their music is slow and depressing, perfect for a monday, and it's not like you want to see them on a saturday with an upbeat/drunken crowd on hand

if it was a monday in Baltimore maybe.  or even in DC! but i am not trying to go to VA on a monday night.  boo hiss.
 
  looks like a NYC show on that previous saturday, and i havent been there since October.
 
 oh, and i dont find their music to be depressing at all, just thought i would throw that in there.

Oh hell yeah! Anyone who loves live music MUST go to this show. I just saw them in Brooklyn over the weekend, and they blew my mind. And to see them in such a tiny place? It's going to be beautiful. (My only concern is that the stage won't be big enough for them to leap around as they normally do.)
 
 If you were planning on seeing Wolf Parade, ditch that show and go see WP at the Ottobar Saturday. Wolfmother is much more essential.
 
 Hopefully there will be more dates announced on the tour!
