Something tells me it's an all day thing. On Dan Deacon's website it lists "12 pm" while the rest of the his tour dates are in the evening.

depends.  for folks in the DC area, probably frederick (about an hour up 270).  for b'morites, aberdeen is the way to go.  for you in annapolis, looks like aberdeen is a tad better (but not by much).
 
 biggest problem is that these two shows are on tuesday and wednesday, so you'll have to deal with rush-hour traffic.  actually, if you want to make it in time for the show you're probably going to have to not deal with rush-hour and leave before it hits.  neither 270 nor 95 are nice to deal with between 5:00 and 7:00... miss pretentious is from annapolis?  hey, i have been hanging there a lot lately....i joined rams head's beer club and since then cant stay away from the joint.  59 more to drink!

I'm not sure. He is only playing a 7/21 date per his myspace and 7/22 per his official site. Are shows held at Wham City? Or is it a record label?

 I don't believe that one has to see every last show by every last band they're interested in. Of course people who have an unhealhy concert addiction probably don't understand that concept. And when I'm picking and choosing which shows I'm going to see, the price is a major factor. have you ever thought that just because someone doesnt live like you do, doesnt mean they have unhealthy addictions and need reality checks?
   are you THAT close minded and egotistical? or is this just another one of yout self-loathing tactics to attack people who live the life you only wish you could still live?    
 
 and btw - i do watch the prices of shows. granted free is better, but i don't complain over $15 shows. Once shows start hitting the $25 price I do question which bands I *have* to see vs just wanting to see. ie Morrissey, Crowded House and The Happy Mondays - I wouldnt miss for the world. Then again, I live my life as I want, am not living paycheck to paycheck and live in f'ing NYC! Then again, I'd rather support artists and throw my money that way vs other things, that some people find more important.
