 I don't believe that one has to see every last show by every last band they're interested in. Of course people who have an unhealhy concert addiction probably don't understand that concept. And when I'm picking and choosing which shows I'm going to see, the price is a major factor. have you ever thought that just because someone doesnt live like you do, doesnt mean they have unhealthy addictions and need reality checks?

 and btw - i do watch the prices of shows. granted free is better, but i don't complain over $15 shows. Once shows start hitting the $25 price I do question which bands I *have* to see vs just wanting to see. ie Morrissey, Crowded House and The Happy Mondays - I wouldnt miss for the world. Then again, I live my life as I want, am not living paycheck to paycheck and live in f'ing NYC! Then again, I'd rather support artists and throw my money that way vs other things, that some people find more important. [/b]

aw, c'mon dude, i'm just "breakin' your balls" as those charming gents on "the sopranos" would say. anyone who goes to see that show now, it's all about the nostalgia factor, which is somewhat understandable, and a pretty universal feeling. why anyone would like those bands in the first place, back in the '90s, that's the real mystery.

Maybe it's because they don't have the time or interest to figure out the difference between Panda Bear or Grizzly Bear, Wolf Parade of Wolf Mother, or any of the other myriad of zoo animals masquarading as music. They spent all their energy figuring out the difference between the Black Crowes, Counting Crows, and Sheryl Crow. Yet they still want to be entertained.

you're a fucking moron, i already said before in the thread about the bizarre 90s "roots" / alterna-rock touring scene that i'm not shitting on people for going to the shows or liking the bands, i just find the whole concept interesting ... obviously i'm weird, but you don't have to keep pointing it out!
