So anyone know if the DBT show is going to be all acoustic now that the main page lists as "Dirt Underneath?"  The band had said they were considering a half and half.

Last time I saw them, it was rather forgettable. I know people rave about their live shows but I just don't get it.

I'd see Smashing Pumpkins given the chance though  :)

Do you we get a Robinson on vocals?  Bless his heart, but Robert can't hit all the notes anymore...especially for an entire tour.   Talking about going full circle, my first major gig was Led Zepplin, with an opening set by the band that would be my favorite until jr. high Judas Priest.

Somehow I missed this if it was already posted:

 The Swell Season
 w/ Amy LaVere
 This is a seated show.
 THU. JUL. 26
 $15.00

For those not in the know, The Swell Season is Glen Hansard (The Frames) and Marketa Irglova, the duo from the movie Once.

I'm guessing the show is like the movie only without all the dialogue.  Man, without an SF date, I may make a trip to DC for this show.  I could do without seats though.

 Other dates:

Tue 07/24/07 - New York, NY  Blender Theatre At Gramercy

Sat 07/28/07   Chicago, IL  Old Town School Of Folk Music

The Swell Season are playing San Francisco, August 4, 2007 at Noe Valley Ministry (near Castro, how gay!). It's a small church and very intimate.

Then, The Frames are playing Great American Music Hall, September 5, 2007 (on sale July 1st!)

You're not looking hard enough!      :)
