the shpongle (dj) + hallucinogen (live) gig this past summer was at the highland ballroom and the place was sold out... in fact it was packed. i predict that if Irving Plaza is a full-band show there won't be any tickets left at the door.

here - the production on this album is unmatched, you really need to hear an uncompressed (non-MP3) version to fully appreciate it. when the album came out some 10-11 years ago, it redefined electronic downtempo. to this day it remains one of my desert island disks, i still hear new stuff every time i listen. i'll shut up now.
